The first Melamine Dinnerware Plant started to operate in Laghman province at a cost of one million Afghanis. This plant, which is equipped with standard machines, has provided job opportunities for dozens.
This plant operates on 600 square meters of land in Mehtarlam city, and produces all kinds of Melamine dishes.
This plant produces more than 1200 types of Melamine dishes round the clock from 50 kg of Melamine raw materials and imports the raw materials from overseas.
This plant supplies its products to Kandahar, Nangarhar, Helmand and Farah provinces.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is striving to lead the country to self-sufficiency by trying to grow the country's economy and supporting industry and trade.
