Increase in the Capital of the Women's Handicrafts Association

The Women's Handicrafts Association for Women, which has been working for three years in Taleqan, the capital of Takhar province, to provide vocational training in the field of knitting, Baluch embroidery, afghan clothes embroidery, and tailoring, has increased its investment in this sector.

With an initial investment of 40,000 Afghanis, the association has trained 100 women in various sectors of handicrafts, and these women are engaged in sewing various handicrafts in different parts of the province.

The capital has been increased to 500,000 Afghanis and has provided internships for 35 women in receiving vocational training in knitting, Baluch embroidery, and tailoring.

The officials of this center say if they are cooperated by governmental and non-governmental institutions, they can provide more vocational training for women in handicraft training in Takhar province.
