Increase in Oxygen Production Level in Herat province

Arghawan Herai Oxygen Production Plant in Herat Province has increased its production level.
Arghawan Herai Oxygen Production Plant with an initial investment of 1$ million in Herat industrial park has provided jobs for more than 20 people.
The plant started its activity in 2016 in Herat industrial park and currently has 2,000 oxygen capsules, and has the capacity to produce 40 kg’s of Oxygen in one hour.
On the other hand, local officials in Herat emphasize that the increase in oxygen production has partially solved the lack of oxygen in COVID-19 hospitals in this province.
The oxygen produced by this plant is now supplied to hospitals and clinics in Herat for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Besides, there are three other big oxygen production plants in Herat province, and with the spread of the corona virus, the activity of these production plants to meet oxygen needs has increased.
