Investment Increment in Rice Processing Sector in Laghman Province

One more rice processing and packaging plant in Laghman province has increased its investment to more than $ 1 million.
Arab rice processing and packaging plant, started to operate with a capital of $ 1.2 million in Qarghaye district of Laghman province since 2016 and has provided job opportunities for 35 people.
The Plant has a capacity of processing and packing 60 tons of rice round the clock and started operating on an area of 3 acres of land in 1394 in Qarghaye district and is going to increase the production and processing capacity of rice soon.
This plant, in addition to meeting the needs of Laghman province; sells its products to Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Kunduz and Kabul provinces.
In addition to this plant, two other plants are engaged in the processing and packaging of rice in Laghman province.
It is worth mentioning that this plant has processed and packed about 5000 tons of rice in the current year.
