Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets with Chinese investors in Afghanistan

H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce met with Yu Ming Hui, Chairman of the China Investors Group in Afghanistan, and members of the group in his office to discuss joint cooperation aimed at investing in the country.
In this meeting, Mr. Yu Ming Hui expressed his country's investors' interest in various sectors with Afghan investors.
Mr. Hui said, the group has now set up a factory to produce various types of power cables in the Pul-e-Charkhi Industrial Park.
The group also added we are building joint ventures with Afghan investors to produce paint and package dried fruits and vegetables in Afghanistan's industrial parks.
Mr. Hui added that soon a group of Chinese investors will build about 50 manufacturing plants in various Afghanistan industrial parks with Afghan industrialists.
Welcoming the start of Chinese investors' investment in Afghanistan, H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the MoIC will provide the necessary facilities for your investment in all areas.
Mr. Ghoryani called on Chinese investors in Afghanistan to cooperate with Afghan traders in marketing the country's products, especially marble, fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, saffron, and pine-nut.
In conclusion, both sides promised to cooperate to expand joint investment between the two countries' investors and marketing Afghan products in China.
