Signing a contract for the land sell to 27 industrial-production Factories

Contract for the land sell to 27 industrial-production factories between the General Directorate of Industrial Parks and Industrial Affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the factories involved in the contract with the presence of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce and representatives of the private sector and industrial-production factories was signed in conference hall of this ministry.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce at the ceremony, stressed that encouraging investors to invest in the country's industrial parks and providing the necessary facilities to attract investment, is the top of the priority of Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
H.E Ghoryani, similarly praised the investors in the country's industrial parks, adding that these investments could turn Afghanistan from an importing country into a self-sufficient and export-oriented country.
The 27 companies which signed a land sale agreement with the MoIC, 26 of them received land in Bagh Samawat Industrial Park in Khost province and one factory in Barikaab Industrial Park.
These companies have invested more than $ 10 million in 54 acres of industrial land in various sectors, and have created job opportunities for hundreds of citizens.
Likewise, investors who are interested in investing in the country's industrial parks, can apply for land in this park to the of Industrial Park and Industrial Affairs of the MoIC, the provincial representative of the Ministry, Afghanistan Chambers Federation and Chambers of Commerce and Investment, Industries and Mines and Afghanistan Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Kabul and provinces.
After a preliminary review by the General Directorate of Industrial Parks and Industrial Affairs, the application documents of these factories will be sent to the specialized committee for land distribution in industrial parks and the evaluation committee of the mentioned committee for approval.
With the approval of the High Economic Council, a contract for the sale of land between the MoIC and the industrial-manufacturing companies requesting land in industrial parks will be signed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
