The first exhibition of women's handicrafts was held with the presence of Major General Mohammad Yasin, Governor of Paktika, representatives of the private sector, the Head of Industry and Commerce Department, and several women entrepreneurs in the center of the province.
The exhibition was organized by the Paktika Department of Industry and Commerce in coordination with the Department of Women's Affairs of the province for one day in Sharan city.
The purpose of this exhibition is to empower women entrepreneurs and businesses, as well as to support women's handicrafts and domestic products.
During the exhibition, Mr. Mohammad Yasin, the governor of the province, emphasized that work is underway on a new project for domestic products and handicrafts of women to provide more opportunities for women entrepreneurs, and industrialists and to search suitable markets inside and outside the country for these products.
Meanwhile, the MoIC leadership is determined to launch several exhibitions this year, inside and outside the country, to utilize and support domestic products, as well as to find suitable markets for these products.
