Women's protection policy finalized

The policy of women protection, which has been prepared and arranged in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, was finalized with the signature of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce.

H.E Ghoryani said, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is proud which has prepared and arranged Women Protection Policy in order to ensure the rights that the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is required to fulfill in its national and international obligations to gender.

Mr. Ghoryani emphasized, the protection of women's rights and their greater participation in administrative affairs will lead to the expansion of women's activities and the development of this ministry, and women will have the ability to lead; They are able to improve the performance of the administration and lead to the balanced development of this organization.

Moreover, The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has also set up a grievance box on the ministry's premises to receive complaints from female employees.

This policy is prepared in 5 chapters and 23 articles; Its ultimate goal is to identify the work challenges of women in the ministry, address their problems, and strengthen the presence of women within the ministry.
