The 11th meeting of the technical level of Inter-Ministerial Committee was held

This morning, September 16, 2020, the 11th inter-ministerial technical meeting for the implementation and follow-up of the WTO obligations was held at the level of heads of ministries and administrations, under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce.

The meeting commenced with a brief speech by honored Deputy Minister on the reputation of WTO commitments and how to implement them.

Humayoon Rahimi, Acting Director of the WTO commitments implementation, then elucidated the importance of Afghanistan's membership and the strategy of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce after joining the WTO.

Likewise, according to the agenda, the relevant ministries and administrations reported on how to implement the obligations related to their authorities.

In conclusion, all participants were tasked with prioritizing the implementation of WTO commitments and providing information on how its progressing has been made in implementing them.

It was also decided, the technical teams of the MoIC will be sent to the mentioned administrations and collaborate with them in understanding and how to accomplish the responsibilities.
