The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce visited the 6th Herat Saffron Flower Festival

HERAT- H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited the sixth Saffron Flower Festival, which was held at the Agriculture and Livestock Directorate.
In this exhibition, more than forty booths displayed their products.
The purpose of this exhibition is to introduce Herat saffron products to national and international traders and to market them in domestic, regional and international markets, the organizers of this exhibition state.
Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC Acting Minister, emphasized that all efforts are being made to market Afghan saffron in foreign countries, he added, a large consignment of saffron will soon be exported from all over Afghanistan.
It is expected that about 20 tons of saffron will be harvested in Herat province this year.
