Afghanistan and Kazakhstan Holds Bilateral Meeting

During the Afghan government- private sector delegation headed by IEA's Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi visit to Almaty city of Kazakhstan, a bilateral meeting between delegation of Afghanistan and the delegation of Kazakhstan headed by Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Serik Jumangarin was held.
At the meeting, the IEA's acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, in his speech, thanked the host country for their hospitality, taking specific measures regarding the exhibition of products of Afghanistan as well as the trade connection conference between the two countries, elimination of the name of the Islamic Emirate from the list of prohibited groups in the said country, and the acceptance of IEA's Charge de Affairs in Istana city for the growth of diplomatic ties. He added that holding such business events without any doubt indicates the growth of ties between the two countries.
Further, in the meeting, discussions were held regarding the issues such as expansion of the economic and trade relations between the two countries, increasing trade amount, attracting and absorption of investment, joint investments, transit and transport matters, banking issues, enhancement of medical tourism, facilities for visa issuance, and assigning technical sub committees.
