Afghanistan Private Sector Participation Coordination Meeting at Dubai International Expo 2020

The Afghanistan private sector online coordination meeting chaired by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce was attended by Mr. Khanjan Alokozai, Deputy of Afghanistan Chambers Federation, heads and representatives of sectoral chambers, and representatives of the private sector.
Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the participation of the country's private sector in this expo is very valuable in presenting a positive image of Afghanistan, attracting investments in various sectors, and growing the country's trade with different countries.
Mr. Ghoryani added the expo will be held for 6 months and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, provides booth services (free), visas for participating exhibitors, technical cooperation in the areas of goods export, transport, insurance, and transfer of goods from customs to the expo area for the private sector.
In this meeting, Mr. Alkozay expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the MoIC leadership in expanding the country's trade with countries in the region and the world and providing the necessary facilities for Afghan businessmen to participate in international exhibitions.
On behalf of the heads and representatives of the sectoral chambers and the private sector, expressing appreciation for the activities of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated that they would participate in this exhibition.
In conclusion, it was decided that the technical group of this ministry should start joint cooperation with the chambers federation and sector chambers to identify traders who are interested in participating in this expo.
