Almond Processing increment in Daikondi Province

The first almond processing and packaging plants started operating in Daikondi province with an initial investment of 13 million Afghanis.
These plants, which have just started operating, have also provided jobs for dozens.
Mumtaz and Shugufa haye Badam processing and packaging plants in Shahrestan and Nile districts of the capital of the province were put into operation in 2021 with the financial support of Oxfam or (rural livelihood program), which is managed by women.
They have the capacity to process and package 8400 kg of almonds daily.
The officials of these plants say that in addition to offering their products to the markets of Daikondi province, they also sell these products to Kabul and neighboring provinces and are trying to export abroad.
