Committee for Reactivating Non-Operational Cold Storage Facilities Hold Meeting

The meeting of the Committee for Reactivating Non-Operational Cold Storage Facilities, chaired by Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, and attended by the deputies of the Ministries of Mines and Petroleum, Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, the Directorate for Investment Facilitation of the Administrative Office of the Government, as well as representatives from state owned companies.
During the meeting, discussions were held on reactivating incomplete cold storage facilities, specially 14 currently non-operational facilities located in 12 provinces.
Additionally, the meeting addressed existing resources and capacities and explored better methods for reactivating the cold storage facilities. Further technical and legal proceedings were assigned to the technical team.
