Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ukraine to Afghanistan

Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Afghanistan in his office and discussed the expansion of Afghanistan-Ukraine trade relations.
Welcoming Mr. Vasyl M. Servatiuk to Kabul, Mr. Binshah said, the expansion of economic, industrial, and trade relations with the Republic of Ukraine is of special importance for Afghanistan and that His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, places more emphasis on this issue.
Mr. Binshah added, the MoIC, emphasizes the export of Afghan agricultural products to the Republic of Ukraine and the MoIC is working to finalize and sign bilateral agreements on trade relations soon.
Moreover, the Ukraine Ambassador to Afghanistan, Vasil Sirvatok, stressed the expansion of economic, industrial, and trade relations between his country and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and said that Ukrainian officials are working to facilitate trade between the two countries.
Mr. Servatiuk added, work is underway to finalize the text of bilateral trade agreements between the two countries and will be completed soon.
The Governments of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Republic of Ukraine, with the establishment of the Afghanistan-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission, are working to facilitate economic, industrial, trade, transit, cultural, and other cooperation between the two countries.
