MoIC Signs Cooperation MoUs with National and International Organizations

Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, signed Cooperation Memorandums of Understanding with the directors of a number of national and international organizations operating in Afghanistan. The MoUs aim to empower families, support small enterprises, and promote trade and professions.
In a meeting held for this purpose, the Acting Minister stressing on supporting returnees to the country, listened to information provided by the directors of the said organizations regarding the implementation of projects, their nature, benefits, impact on society, and the quality of the products, then gave necessary instructions in this regard.
Five national organizations and one international organization, with a total budget of $3,923,864, are supposed to implement their projects in Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Faryab, Nangarhar, Khost, Takhar, Badakhshan, and Bamyan provinces, focussing on economic empowerment of families, developing businesses for entrepreneur youths, supporting small enterprises, providing fundamental trade and vocational training, and promoting business and professional development.
