Discussion Is Held on Trade Enhancement Between Afghanistan and Azerbaijan

The IEA's Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr.Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, met with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Afghanistan, honorable Mr. Ilham Mammadov, today afternoon.
During the meeting, discussions were held on various matters including implementing commitments made during various meetings between the officials of the two countries, enhancing trade, staging joint exhibitions of products in both countries, sharing Afghanistan's investment opportunities with Azerbaijani traders and investors, as well as keeping Lapis Lazuli Way operational.
At the conclusion, in order to enhance trade and economic ties, agreements were made on sharing lists of exporting goods of both countries, holding an exhibition of products of Afghanistan in Azerbaijan, and introducing a team of four members for further coordination and communication.
