End of the workshop expressing comments and suggestions regarding the necessary amendments in the text of the APTTA Agreement

A two-day workshop on expressing comments and suggestions regarding the necessary amendments to the text of the APTTA Agreement was held under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce with the participate of representatives of government and private sector stakeholders in this agreement and Harakat Corporation at the conference hall of this ministry.
At the end of the two-day workshop, H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani said, Afghanistan wants the necessary amendments to the text of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit-Trade Agreement in accordance with the principles of the World Trade Organization.
Mr. Ghoryani reiterated that at the 7th and 8th meetings of APTTCA, the negotiating team defended the legitimate demands of the private sector and drafted a proposal (amending the APTTA Agreement) with the Ministry of Commerce officials.
This two-day workshop was held at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce; Representatives of government organizations and the private sector shared their views and suggestions with the Ministry to amend the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit-Trade Agreement (APTTA).
