Finalization of the procedure for implementing the 6% incentive package for the carpet exports

The finalization session of the 6% incentive package procedure for increasing carpet exports was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce with the participation of representatives of the country's carpet sector.

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the procedure was prepared to implement a 6% incentive package to increase carpet exports by consulting with the carpet industry and traders.

Mr. Ghoryani also added, following this procedure, traders who export the country's carpets in the name and logo of Afghanistan to countries in the region and the world, should use the provisions of this incentive package.

At this meeting, after discussing the articles of this procedure, the participants of the meeting agreed and signed by a majority of votes.

The 6% incentive package for the carpet exports worth 120 million Afghanis from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the approval of the High Economic Council to increase the country's carpet exports is now ready to be implemented.
