The first shipment of Iranian commercial goods entered Herat province by Rail

Herat-Khaf Railway: First trial shipment of goods arrives today through the railway line in Herat. This shipment has imported 400 tons of cement through Herat-Khaf Railway to Afghanistan.

The Khaf-Herat railway is scheduled to be inaugurated soon with the presence of high-ranking officials in Herat. With the opening of this railway, Afghanistan intends to export about 400 tons of its commercial goods, including grains, dried fruits, plants, medical and other items to Iran.

With the opening of this railway, Afghanistan will be connected to Europe through the southern ports of Iran and the Iran-Turkey railway network.
