Laying the foundation stone of the construction project of the surrounding wall of Herat industrial Park

The cornerstone of the construction project of the wall, security towers, and gates of Herat Industrial Park, was laid today by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Noor Ahmad Haidari, Deputy Governor of Herat, Mr. Hamidullah Khadem, Chairman of Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines and representatives of the private sector, government institutions, traders and investors in Herat Industrial Park.

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani at the inauguration ceremony of the projects said, along with this project, the construction of the surrounding walls of five industrial parks in the province has started.

Mr. Ghoryani added, the project, which includes a wall along with security towers and gates of the industrial park, will be built in the first phase with a length of six kilometers in the next 9 months.

Welcoming the start of construction of this project, Herat Deputy Governor said, Herat province, as the economic hub of the country, has the capacity to activate more companies and production factories, and the construction of this wall and security towers can solve security problems and will attract the attention of investors to build more factories.

On the other hand, Mr. Hamidullah Khadem, the head of the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines, called the construction of walls, towers, and gates of the industrial park a great step to provide better security and protect the companies.

Herat Industrial park in 3 phases, with more than 300 factories, is one of the economic hubs of the country, which according to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, the 4th phase will be built in the future with 152 new factories.
