Meeting of the Leadership Board of Afghanistan Handicrafts Development Joint Stock Company

Meeting of the Leadership Board of Afghanistan Handicrafts Development Joint Stock Company was held under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce and with the participation of leadership board of this company at the central office of this company.

At the beginning, H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani said, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has prepared and arranged comprehensive plans for the development of various sectors, especially the country's handicrafts, and with the implementation of these plans, development and self-sufficiency will be achieved.

Mr. Ghoryani appreciated the functions and achievements of this board for keeping the country's handicrafts alive and stressed that their problems should be identified and solved soon.

At the meeting, the company's leadership board expressed their concerns, proposing the establishment of a handicraft sales center at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the construction of a complementary handicraft complex to increase sales in Kabul city.

Accepting their proposals, the Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the ministry would create a comprehensive portal with the aim of selling their products online.

H.E Ghoryani, also visited the exhibition hall of the company in which its products are exhibited.

Afghanistan Handicrafts Development Joint Stock Company was established 30 years ago with 40% government investment and 60% private sector shares for the development, production and export of handicrafts in the country.
