Meeting with the private sector representatives

On Saturday evening, Honored Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Candidate and Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with the leaderships of Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production, Afghan National Fruit and Vegetable Union, the Chairman of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber and a group of private sector members, and have discussed several concerns, including the exports problems.
During this meeting, the contributors spoke in detail regarding the problems facing the export and transit of Afghanistan goods to Pakistan and India, and offered their proposals.
In part of his speech, Mr. Ghoryani said; “I am aware of the problems which exists in the trade routes with Pakistan, and negotiations are proceeding with Pakistan to resolve the trade and transit challenges and barriers”.
In addition, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce directed the related authorities to take immediate action through commercial attaches in Pakistan. Subsequently, He assured to raise the concern with the country's High officials to resolve these hindrances as soon as possible, and to hold formal talks with the Pakistan Ambassador in Kabul.
