Minister of Industry and Commerce: Our Top Priority is to Solve Trade, Transit and Industrial Challenges

H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, who is visiting Nangarhar province, in a meeting with industrialists, businessmen and Parliament Members of Nangarhar said, solving the trade, transit and industrial problems of the private sector and domestic investors, is the top priority for this ministry.
Mr. Ghoryani added, the purpose of my visit is to study the problems and challenges of the private sector and to find investment opportunities in the province, and to consult with the private sector and include their views and suggestions in the new Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit and Trade Agreement.
H.E Ghoryani also stated, during this visit, by evaluating the customs problems of traders in Torkham Port customs and receiving their opinions, we will discuss ways to solve their problems with the officials of the competent government organizations.
 In this meeting, industrialists, traders and representatives of Nangarhar province in the parliament, while welcoming the Minister of Industry and Commerce to Jalalabad, shared the problems and challenges of the private sector and their views on amending the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit and Trade Agreement.
 H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, receiving the problems and challenges of the private sector in Nangarhar province and their views on the new (APTTA) said, the MoIC leadership with the strong support of the Presidency; Requested the amendment of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit-Trade Agreement in accordance with the principles and criteria of the World Trade Organization by Pakistan, which other side also agreed.
