Mr. Alhaj Azizi Participates in a Seminar on the Economic Duties of the Islamic Government

Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, participated in a scientific and research seminar titled "Economic Duties of the Islamic Government". Addressing the said event, he explained the economic sector's duties within the Islamic Government, as well as the activities and achievements of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
During the seminar, outlining key indicators and responsibilities of Islamic Government, he stated that the economic growth and public welfare are vital in the society.
The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, further highlighted several initiatives and achievements of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan including; allocating land in various provinces, particularly in Kabul, for establishing new industrial parks to expand business sector activities, providing the private sector members with comprehensive support, granting tax penalty exemptions, promoting the national products and increasing tariffs on similar importing goods, establishing the private sector support fund, offering incentives to returning traders and industrialists via a special committee, imposing preferential tariffs on import of raw material and machinery, preventing the import of low-quality goods and smuggling, enhancing production volume and establishing laboratories
It is noteworthy, that the scientific and research seminar on Economic Duties of the Islamic Government was organized by the esteemed Afghanistan Science Academy.
