The OMID Project Online Meeting was held

The OMID Project Online meeting was attended by H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry's technical team, officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and World Bank officials in Afghanistan.
H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, appreciated the continuous cooperation of the World Bank and the financing of the OMID project and emphasized the continuity of this cooperation.
H.E Ghoryani added, the construction of an industrial park has played a major role in Afghanistan's economic growth and development, and the OMID project, which is responsible for building a series of industrial-agricultural parks in the country, is of great importance to the ministry.
OMID project development goal; Creating a favorable environment for the development of agricultural businesses by increasing the participation of the private sector, including farmers in different provinces of the country.
The meeting focused on coordination between the Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Finance, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and the World Bank on how to implement the project.
