One-Stop-Shop License Issuance MoU was signed between Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Ministry of Information and Culture

Memorandum of Understanding on Issuing Licenses under one-stop-shop between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Information and Culture was signed by H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and Respected Mohammad Taher Zuhair, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, aiming to accelerate the process of issuing licenses.

Pursuant to this MoU, the cultural and media activities licenses issued by the Ministry of Information, now it will be issued to the applicants under one-stop-shop of General Directorate of Central Business Registry and Intellectual Property of Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Two days ago, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce inaugurated the information management system and issuance of licenses under one-stop-shop with the participate of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, representatives of government and private sectors.

The information management and licensing system under one-stop-shop has three stages of simplification, systematization and unification and so far, 20 ministries and independent organizations which distributes business licenses have been interconnected to this system.

This system has been established based on the decree number (2943) dated 31 December 2017, of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
