Operation of five production factories with the presence of Minister of Industry and Commerce in Herat Industrial Park

Five production factories were inaugurated with the presence of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Sayed Abdul Wahid Qatali, Governor of Herat, members of parliament, members of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, members of the Afghanistan Chamber of Mines and Industries and National Traders in Herat Industrial Park.

H.E Ghoryani stated the support of the country's industrialists as one of the top priorities of the MoIC and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Mr. Ghoryani expressed his gratification with the interest of the private sector in investing in industry, emphasizing that investing in the country's economy, creates employment and brings security.

MoIC Minister, during his visit to Herat province inaugurated the; Etemad Solar Power Plant, Morwarid Stone Company, Khawaja Abdullah Ansari Profile and Aluminum Company, Herat Marble Company and Negin danah Company.

On the other side, Sayed Abdul Wahid Qatali defined the facilitation of investment and support of domestic products as a rudimentary principle and said, our priority is to fight corruption and prevent the import of similar products in the country.

With initial capital of $ 20 million, these companies started their operations in Herat Industrial Park, which has created employment for hundreds of citizens.

It is worth mentioning, currently around three hundred production factories are operating in Herat industrial park.
