Results and Achievements of Kazakhstan's High-Ranking Delegation Visit to Afghanistan

A high-ranking delegation comprised of government official and private sector members of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by Republic of Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration, honorable Mr. Kairat Torebayev, arrived in Kabul on Monday, December 25, 2024.
The delegation was received by the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, at Kabul International Airport.
The visit of the delegation, which was consisted of around 40 individuals, was part of ongoing interactions between the two countries' officials, aimed at enhancing and strengthening ties as well as implementing prior made commitments.
During bilateral meetings with IEA's Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, and other Islamic Emirate officials, as well as private sector members of both countries, significant achievements were made in trade, mining, transportation, telecommunications, agriculture, railways, and investment sectors, which were presented at a press conference held today, December 28, 2024, by the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Kairat Torebayev, and Mr. Mufti Mohammad Shoaib Shafiq, Deputy Director for Central Asia of Third Political Department of Afghanistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Further more, during the trade meetings between the private sectors of both countries, seven trade agreements were signed.
