Review of the Draft of Investment Law

A technical meeting on the draft review of the Private Investment Law was held under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce with the participate of the private sector representatives and relevant government institutions at the conference hall of this ministry.

H.E Ghoryani said, the technical opinions of the private sector and government institutions involved in the law, should be comprised and must be made in such a way that it does not cause any problems in the future, and with the finalization of this law, the following facilities will be provided;

1- the necessary legal facilities will be delivered for investors

2- attracts investments

3- brings economic growth and welfare for the society.

At this meeting, private sector representatives and the government organizations involved in this law, contributed their technical viewpoints with the Investment Development Directorate to help enrich it.

Ministry of Industry and Commerce along with the draft amendment to the Private Investment Law; Works on several policies and initiatives to support industry, trade and attract investments.
