The scientific conference on the benefits of Southern, Eastern, and Western commercial-transit corridors was held in Paktia province.

The scientific conference was attended by high-ranking government delegations from Kabul, people's representatives in parliament, government officials, elders and youth of Paktia, Paktika, Khost and Logar provinces to study the role and benefits of commercial-transit corridors and their economic role in the lives of people in these provinces.
This conference which was held yesterday, Honorable Ajmal Hamid Abdul Rahimzai Deputy Minister of Trade of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Deputy Ministers of Economy, Information and Culture and deputy minister of Education have discussed the commercial, economic and cultural significance of these corridors with local authorities of these provinces.
In his remarks emphasizing the commercial-transit role of these corridors with neighboring countries, the region and the world, the DM of Ministry of Industry and Commerce said, the National Unity Government and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce have always strived to target new commercial-transit corridors. The growth and development of the country's industrialization process and the increasing volume of Afghanistan trade with the world has created significant successes.
Abdul Rahimzai also added; the government leadership has various plans to expand the process of industrialization and increase the export volume of the country's manufactured goods, part of which is technical and scientific studies of new commercial-transit corridors with neighboring countries, the region and the world.
One of the leadership goals of the Afghanistan government is to transform our country into regional trade-transit crossing and a part of it is being operated from past five years, and the process of adapting to industrialization and increasing exports of manufactured goods continues.
