A two-day workshop on commenting and suggestions on the necessary amendments to the text of the APTTA Agreement

A two-day workshop on commenting and suggestions on the necessary amendments to the text of the APTTA Agreement, chaired by H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, was held in the conference hall of this ministry with the participate of representatives of government organizations and the private sector.

At the beginning, H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani said; the APTTA agreement is important for facilitating transit and trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Mr. Ghoryani stated, at the 7th and 8th meetings of APTTCA the negotiating team defended the legitimate demands of the private sector and called for the APTTA agreement to be amended in accordance with WTO principles.

In this two-day workshop, representatives of government organizations and the private sector will share their views and suggestions with the MoIC to amend the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit-Trade Agreement (APTTA).
