Holding a Coordination Meeting to Establish Afghanistan Health and Medical Services Chamber

August 1, 2021

Coordination and consultation meeting on the plan to establish Afghanistan Health and Medical Services Chamber chaired by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce attended by MR. Khanjan Alokozai, Deputy of the Afghanistan Chambers Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Public Health, National Food and Medicine Administration, and members of the founding board.

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce at the beginning of this meeting said, the MoIC supports the plan to establish a health and medical services chamber and paves the necessary grounds for its creation.

According to the Chamber’s regulation, the various sectors which have 2000 active members in the capital and provinces, can form chambers by submitting a request to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Afghanistan Chambers Federation.

This chamber will regulate the activities of the medicine imports, medicine production, health care companies, private hospitals, health centers, and health associations.
