Holding an online meeting on business connections between Afghan fresh fruit exporters and Indian importers

Through the Afghanistan Trade Attaché Office in Mumbai, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce convened a business liaison between Afghanistan's Fresh Fruit Exporters and Indian Importers in Cooperation with the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and USAID via an online system.
The program was attended by Consul General in Mumbai, Mr. Shah Masood Arghandabi, Director of Export Development at the Ministry, heads of Afghanistan Chambers of Commerce and Investment, World Trade Center in Kabul, World Trade Center in Mumbai, and more than 82 Indian and Afghan companies.
Mr. Shah Masood Arghandabi, announced the increase of Afghanistan's exports to Indian markets and the launch of the Ministry's development programs to develop Afghanistan's exports to regional countries.
Business connection meeting, held between 36 Afghan businessmen and 46 Indian businessmen, Besides, Indian companies have expressed their interest in importing fresh fruits, especially cherries, apples, and grapes from Afghanistan.
An online business connection meeting for Afghan fruit and vegetable traders in India will soon be held by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce through the ministry's attaché Office.
