Kandahar Cotton Textile Enterprise must be reactivated

The meeting of the Supreme Council of Kandahar Cotton Textile Enterprise was held under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, with the participate of Hedayatullah Jawad, Head of Kandahar Cotton Textile and representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Economy.
At the beginning, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani stressed on the reactivation of government enterprises and said, Kandahar cotton textile enterprise should be reactivated by solving its problems and become a full-fledged and employment-generating enterprise. Besides, a detailed study of the current situation of all enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce should be done and right decisions will be made to modernize the machineries’ of these enterprises.
Kandahar Cotton Textile Enterprise was one of the largest yarn and cotton fabric factories in the country, and now the ministry is working to reactivate the enterprise and recover its former status.
