The President: Government Supports the Development of Industry Everywhere in Afghanistan
This morning, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, visited the Afghan Power Company produced cars and batteries which was displayed in the courtyard of the Chahar-Chenar Palace.
During the visit, HE President was accompanied by the first lady of the country, the head of the company, Mohammad Amin Noor, while providing information to the president, said; we produce various electric and petrol vehicles for the people which can carry and transfer up to 450 kg of weight.
He added, the parts for the cars are imported from China, but the design and body are made in the country. In case of government support, more production and work will be provided. The head of the company also shared his demands and suggestions with the president.
Then, Mohammad Wafi Amin, Director General of the Presidential Office of National Development Support and Operations, spoke and expressed satisfaction with the use of the company's vehicles in the Arg in the past year, saying that due to the use and other necessities inside the Arg, will buy more cars from this company at a reasonable price, because they do not make noise and smoke.
Later, President Ghani spoke and congratulated the officials of Mohammad Amin Noor Company, saying: "It is good that we are witnessing the investment and use of solar energy by a committed Afghan, and the legal barriers to the company will be resolved soon."
Mohammad Ashraf Ghani noted that the government supports the development of industry anywhere in Afghanistan and will provide the necessary facilities to support the products of this company and other investors and producers.
The President reminded the head of the company, to pay special attention to environmental protection during the processing of old batteries and other products.
At the end of the ceremony, the President wished the officials of the company a bright future by driving the company's electronic car in front of the Chahar-Chenar Palace and testing the Afghan Power batteries.
