The seventh meeting of the High Level Inter-Ministerial Committee and the World Trade Organization and Agreement on Trade Facilitation was held.

This meeting was held today under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Ajmal Ahmady Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and Senior Advisor to the President in Banking and Financial affairs with the attendance of representatives of government and private sector members of the committee at conference hall of this ministry. 
The meeting focused on a public report on the implementation of Afghanistan's commitments schedule to the World Trade Organization, the implementation of the Animal and Vegetable Hygiene Agreement, the Afghanistan Trade Facilitation Portal, the rules and regulations and decisions were taken.
Mr. Ajmal Ahmady emphasizing on the fulfillment of Afghanistan's commitments to the World Trade Organization, said that we are pleased that a number of our vows to the World Trade Organization have been completed and exertions are being made to finalize it. 
He moreover added that, ministries that have not finalized their commitments have to work with us to implement them so that the reform process in the business sector can be successfully implemented.
